Pilar Devolx-López, living in Holland, has a lifelong love for the fine wines and delicatessen of her native country of Spain. Residing in Holland for the past several years, she and her husband began importing hand-selected products from Spain—first for themselves, and later for close friends and colleagues.
Over time, word spread and the demand for Pilar’s products grew considerably. To address this demand, she decided to approach MakaluMedia for the development of an online solution to support her idea of a new business.
It was clear from the beginning that the website had to be as special as Pilar’s products themselves. The design and interaction of the site needed to reinforce the quality and satisfaction the customers had come to expect.
Pilar subsequently entrusted MakaluMedia Spain with the design of a corporate identity for her new business—named VSur, reminiscent of the Southern origins of the products—as well as the development and hosting of a custom, web-based ecommerce solution, providing simplicity on the customer side, and powerful management functionality on the backend CMS, as well as the integration of a popular weblog tool.
Today, we are proud to celebrate with Pilar, the launch of VSur.nl.
In just a short time online, Pilar tells us that the site has been a complete success. The customers love it, and the orders are already exceeding the expected levels!
