The Anomaly Report Tracking System (ARTS) is an easy-to-use, yet powerful tool, facilitating the lifecycle of problem reports and actions, within the context of projects. This three-page overview introduces ARTS while we complete our dedicated ARTS marketing website. ARTS provides full lifecycle support for issue and action management. An issue could be an Anomaly Report (AR), Software Problem Report (SPR), Change Request (CR) or similar, depending on the end user's domain of activity. Actions are the tasks required to resolve an issue. ARTS supports multiple users, acting in multiple roles, within multiple projects. ARTS was developed to be compliant with the ECSS Standard Q-20-09B, Non-Conformance Control System. ARTS is immediately available, either in a customer-hosted configuration, or a MakaluMedia-hosted configuration. ARTS runs on most platforms that support Apache, PHP and relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle (e.g. Linux, Solaris, MacOS X). ![]() ARTS combines powerful issue management tools with web-based flexibility. The History of ARTSARTS was developed by MakaluMedia under contract for the European Space Agency (ESA), in support of its ISO-9001 certified Quality Management System. Within a few months of release, ARTS was successfully supporting hundreds of concurrent users, distributed throughout Europe, within more than 30 projects dedicated to both space missions and equipment. ESA has granted MakaluMedia a license to commercialise ARTS, making this powerful tool available to organisations ranging from the smallest web-development or design shops, to the largest multi-national enterprises.
