One way to see how ARTS looks and works, is by viewing screenshots. We’ve selected several ARTS screenshots to display the user interface and operation of the tool.
Login & Welcome Screenshots
Login Screen [screen]
Shown to the user when accessing ARTS.
Welcome Screen [screen]
Once a user logs into ARTS, this Welcome (or Home) screen is shown, listing all of the Projects (and corresponding Roles) to which he has been assigned. Access to project documentation is also provided in this screen. In this particular screenshot, Administration and ACI tabs are shown, but these are only available to the Administrator (and are not shown to general users). The ACI tab is shown active, to inform the Administrator that new incoming messages are waiting to be processed.
Project Anomaly Reports Screen [screen]
Shown to the user when first accessing an ARTS project. A default listing of all non-closed Anomaly Reports is displayed.

Display of the various pre-defined QuickSearch filters that can be applied to the Anomaly Report (or Action) listing display.

When presented in Display Mode, ARTS displays the Anomaly Report in a convenient manner for online viewing.
Anomaly Report Modify (Top: [screen] Bottom: [screen])
When presented in Modify Mode, ARTS displays the Anomaly Report as a web form, with services to change state, update the AR, manage files and relationships, and add/manage Actions.
Anomaly Report Printing [screen]
When presented in Print Mode, ARTS displays the Anomaly Report in a convenient (scaleable) manner for printing.
Anomaly Report Attached Files [screen]
It is possible to attach (upload) one or more files to any Anomaly Report. A Manage Files area is provide for this purpose.
Anomaly Report Relationships [screen]
It is possible to relate one Anomaly Report with one or more other Anomaly Reports. A Manage Relations area is provide for this purpose. The user identifies the target ARs using the advanced search mechanism, and then manages via the Add or Remove services.
Actions Screenshots
Project Actions Screen [screen]
Shown to the user when first accessing the Actions area of an ARTS project. A default listing of all non-closed Actions is displayed.

When presented in Display Mode, ARTS displays the Action in a convenient manner for online viewing.
Action Modify (Top: [screen] Bottom: [screen])
When presented in Modify Mode, ARTS displays the Action as a web form, with services to change state, update the Action, and manage files.
User Details Screenshots
User Profile [screen]
User profile screens provide general information about system users, as well as a direct email contact form.

When a user accesses his own profile, he is presented a form to update his information (email address, etc.)
User Profile: Email [screen]
User Profile screens also provide an email form for direct communication with another user.
Histories [screen]
Every step that occurs during the lifecycle of an Anomaly Report or Action is captured in its History, which is a chronological record of the events. Only the project Supervisor (or Deputy) has the authority to modify an object’s History.
General Administration Screenshots

Shown to the Administrator when accessing the Administration area. From this screen, the Admin has access to the Projects and Users Registries, and the Database Maintenance and ACI areas.

Provides the Administrator with access to a variety of system database maintenance services.

Provides the Administrator with management access (for creation, modification, deletion and role assignment) to all Users within in the system.

Provides the Administrator, from within a user’s record, to assign roles within projects defined within the system. (This is the same services as the Project Role Assignment, just presented in the context of the User, for convenience.)

The entry screen for the Administrator to the ARTS Communication Interface (ACI) management area.
Admin: ACI Systems [screen]
A listing of Systems with which Project Pairings (local or foreign) have been established.
Admin: ACI System Configuration [screen]
From the ACI area, the Administrator may configure certain information about his or her system that will be broadcast to other ARTS requesting Project Pairings (for the purpose of external Action delegation.)
Admin: ACI Foreign System [screen]
An informational display of data related to a Foreign System with which one or more Project Pairings have been established.
Admin: ACI System Delegates [screen]
A listing of all Project Pairings that have been established with a particular system, along with services to remove those pairings.
Admin: ACI Projects [screen]
Provides the Administrator with a view of all local projects, and any pairings that have been established with other projects (local or foreign) for the purpose of Action delegation.
Admin: ACI Project Pairings [screen]
Provides the Administrator with a view of all pairings that have been established with a particular local project.
Admin: ACI Pairing Request Form [screen]
Provides the Administrator with a means to request a Project Pairing with a foreign or local project.
Admin: ACI Incoming Messages [screen]
The area where the Administrator manages incoming ACI messages from the ARTS Communication Interface.
